Cinco de Celebration

Tonight I went to Abuelo's to have dinner with some girlfriends and commemorate Cinco de Mayo which, let's face it, is merely an excuse for Americans to drink tequila. So the Mexican restaurant was packed.. surprise, surprise... but my friend Krista got there early and secured a good table.

For the holiday, margaritas were $3, and diet cokes were $2.50. So it was simple economics that I had two margaritas. At least that's what I told the police officer.

I'm totally kidding.

Happy 5th of May! Party like it's the 4th of July.

I'm off to bed since I have to leave before 6 a.m. for a prayer breakfast. Seems appropriate.

I pray the Lord forgive you of your sins daily.

BTW, I love that we now have the same blog background. You have impeccable taste ;)

Ha ha ha! I KNEW that background looked familiar! I had no idea it was the same one. But, then again, since you only update your blog about once a year, few people will see yours.

And yes, I do have impeccable taste. We established that a long time ago when you became my BFF after your May/December romance with my favorite cousin.

Thankfully my sins were forgiven a long time ago. Salvation is finished. It's that holiness thing that I seem to struggle with every day.
