Will work for fillings

I was at the office until about an hour ago, but before you feel sorry for me, I have to admit that I was out for four hours today, two hours at the dentist and two more having my hair cut and colored. Yes, I am a diva.

When I was a kid, I used to take Oreos to bed with me and eat them throughout the night. No wonder my thighs are big and I had so many cavities! What were my parents thinking?!? And, because I grew up so many, many years ago, my fillings are silver. And ugly. So I've been planning for years to replace my silver fillings with white ones. Hence the dentist appointment.

Turns out I need three crowns plus six new fillings, and that doesn't even count the silver in my bottom teeth. This Friday I'll begin the first of three rounds of novacaine. First installment? 400 bucks. Yowza.

The good news is that, in the past four months, I've lost 20 pounds. Yay me! My pants are falling off and I need to buy some new ones. Perhaps I'll see if the Boy Scouts need the old ones to use for tents.

Going to the dentist is never really fun, and dang- 20lbs? That's awesome L-Dawg. I'm jealous!

Thanks. But don't expect me in a bikini anytime soon. I'm smaller, not small.

I've been doing Weight Watchers online, although cheating a lot. The biggest thing is that I'm walking at least five days a week, 3-5 miles a day. The last 5 lbs. came off when I started running. It's torture, but I can tell a huge difference in my rear and thighs.

Too much information?

I <3 WW. I've lost 40 lbs. It's super easy once you get used to it. Not really fun, but easy.

Congrats, Kristy! That's awesome!

WW is the only thing that's ever really worked for me long-term. I can lose weight on Atkins or Southbeach, but I'm a bit$% during the process and can't sustain the loss.

What I've discovered about me is that I like to eat more than I hate to exercise. I'll gladly keep jogging if that means I can still eat Mexican food and chocolate.
