Hump day

I spent the morning in a three-hour book discussion. It's not even as interesting as it sounds. I drank a lot of coffee.

This afternoon I had a massage, and evidently I have the bone structure of a 90-year-old. But I did get so relaxed that I came home and took a five-hour nap. That's right. Five hours.

Now I'm doing laundry and packing for tomorrow. I have a leadership retreat for Benton County which is actually on campus, and we have to stay in a hotel. I'm all for following procedure, but the hotel is further from campus than my house. So I will pass my neighborhood on my way to pay to stay in a hotel. Weird. The good news is that it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I'm praying that means we'll get to forego the high ropes course that was on the agenda for tomorrow. I am terrified of heights and hate doing that stuff.

Hopefully my five-hour nap will recharge me since I have to work the next two days and nights. But I know it's hard to feel sorry for me since I got a massage and came home to nap. Yeah, I'm a brat.
